Midsummer Show
It wasn't until July that the government gave us permission to do shows again.. The challenge as we had a first taste of 'the new normal' was to work out how to perform to a socially distanced audience.
The late August sunshine was kind to us, with a high-wire, puppet show, musical comedy installation from Rimski and a small circus show in a big top.. to help maintain social distancing, we spread the 750 strong audience over 5 shows over 3 days.
It was an overwhelming success apart from one thing, the reality of the new normal meant that triple the effort for half the money means that it is a challenge to generate the funds necessary to pay everyone what they deserve for all their hard work and talents.
